About us

We’re the subsidiary of an advice business called Aptium Financial Services. We’re known for being laser-focused on getting things done, from both our Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City operating hubs.

The Aptium Assist philosophy: our back office is your back office, drives our business decisions:

the quality of our hiring (Bachelors degrees are most common and our ranks include a CFA);
our proactive and continuous search for improvement across our partner community (take a look at the video on our homepage for example); and
our pricing method (our fixed model caps your cost, but not our ability to over-deliver, just like your own staff).

We’re here for a simple purpose: to help advisers operate more efficiently and grow faster. We achieve our purpose consistently by executing our core services as promised - but also by ensuring our community is as connected as it can be.

We’re in this together, and if there’s a better way of doing things, we make sure everybody knows about it.

All our leaders (and many of our key staff) are trained and educated in Sydney.

Philip Taaffe holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), is a CFP of almost 20 years, and a JP. His advice practice has grown organically at 20% per year for 18 years, serving over 450 client groups with just two advisers, at an EBIT of 65%.

Justin Vu, holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Accounting (both with distinction), Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, former CFP, and expert in the entire adviser-to-client journey.

Jerry Kalogeropoulos, holds a Bachelor of Business (Fin), Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, Cert 4 in Mortgage Broking, and spent 20 years working in licensee management, practice development, strategy and governance roles.
